It appears that Koch Media, the parent company of Deep Silver, beat them to the punch. It's been made known today that Homefront: The Revolution will no longer be handled by Crytek.

Deep Silver has acquired all rights to Homefront: The Revolution and will be taking over development from here on out, the publisher confirmed today.

Crytek UK was working on the game previously, but development was interrupted thanks to some internal issues at the studio. Fortunately, the game will live on under the leadership of Deep Silver and its new development team, Dambuster Studios.
